Becoming a PMO/Contract Manager with Capita Healthcare Decisions:

The HCD PMO Manager is responsible for interfacing and supporting the work of the project teams including technical, commercial, financial interaction with relevant teams and creating the Project Management Office (PMO) governance to support the HCD Portfolio.

What you will do:

  • Based on direction from the Chief Operating Officer (COO), assist in the development and management of a communication strategy, preparing status reporting, providing visibility on status and transparency of the HCD programme for multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Manage and ensure that the PMO has the experience of managing complex environments and flexibility in decision making to produce the outcomes or benefits desired, be it reporting or communications

  • Develop and manage the HCD governance standards across the portfolio; include tracking, monitoring and updating status requirements in line with HCD Senior Management needs Develop and manage the HCD programme level Dashboard

  • Develop, manage and Implement project standards across all projects in the HCD portfolio.

  • Accountability and responsibility for ensuring that the PMs complete financial reporting on a timely basis.

  • Leads by example by taking care of health and safety of yourself and others.

  • Adheres to Corporate Policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures etc

Your experience will include:

  • Prince2 Practitioner Certified
  • In depth knowledge of Project Management Office and Project Management function with exposure to various tools and techniques
  • Has the ability to address new situations and effectively handle any incidents which may arise.
  • To perform risk assessment of control issues and exercise judgement over escalation.
  • Has the ability to execute quickly and effectively - strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex matrix organisational structure
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Previous experience working
  • Good knowledge of people management practices and procedures
