James J Fox has been trading in fine tobacco and smokers accessories for over 225 years and our customers have included Sir Winston Churchill, Oscar Wilde, British and Foreign Royalty and the leading lights of the stage, film, sport, TV, music and literature.

Our world famous tobacco business started with Robert Lewis, who began trading fine tobacco in St James’s Street in 1787.  James J Fox was formed in Dublin in 1881 and opened its first tobacco shop in London in 1947.  Fox acquired the business of Robert Lewis on 14 September 1992, uniting two of the most respected names in the cigar world.  Both companies now trade as JJ Fox (St James’s) Ltd and run the cigar departments of Harrods and Selfridges.

 

BASED AT: Head Office, No19 St James’s Street, London SW1A 1ES

 

REPORTS TO: Ecommerce Manager , in their absence Head of Retail

 

CONTRACTUAL STATUS:

Part time est. 5 hrs per day, 5 days per week

Subject to 3 month probationary Period

 

JOB PURPOSE

ONLINE FULLFILLMENT PICKER AND PACKER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT:

  • Is responsible for picking and packing customers’ orders
  • Is responsible for responding to customers queries and complaints
  • Contributes to the achievement of company’s mission to  establish James J Fox as the Great British Cigar Merchant

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO

  1. Printing customer orders and invoices
  2. Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
  3. Dealing with customer queries over the telephone and via email
  4. Taking customer orders over the telephone
  5. Adhere to all Company Polices and Standards of Procedure (Customer Service Standards, Dress Code Standards and VM Standards)
